We’ve been told that they’re going. Actually, the prediction is that there won’t be any left by the end of the year. So, is this a doomsday, naysayer game or reality? Are we talking Mayan calendar (that the Mayan’s don’t even want you to worry about) or simple hard fact and reality? I’d hate to think that IPv4 address exhaustion was news to anyone anymore in the IT world. But, are you ready? How have you prepared for the absence? Is IPv6 already rolled out in your org? Are you dual stacked already and pure v6 in other parts of your fabric? Is this old news? Did you create a plan and are resting easy now, fully migrated? What did you do to get prepared?
